A big night tonight for local basketball teams. The Copper Mountain College men’s basketball team will host its first playoff game Friday in the California Community College Athletic Association. The Fighting Cacti, who are 7-and-5, will play the Ventura College Pirates, who are 9-and-1, in the SoCal Regional semifinals 7 p.m. Friday in the college’s Bell Center gym. Tickets are $12 unless you are a student, faculty, staff, senior citizen, or child under 12; then tickets are $8. Ticket prices are set by the athletic association and no passes will be accepted.
