Copper Mountain College launched a new student art gallery online last week. Hilary Sloane says the exhibition will be available for viewing through November…
Copper Mountain College art instructor Cathy Allen says the COVID-19 pandemic has made teaching and participating in studio art classes a challenge. But the college’s art instructors and their students have persevered and have put together an online show of student artworks from all of the college’s art classes. The art features paintings, drawings, photography, digital media, mixed media, and 3-D art, by current art students. The show will be online through November 30.
The exhibition showcases 17 CMC student artists: Christopher Barnes, Isabel Beaston, Rebekah Billings, Danielle Decker, Christopher Falossi, Fiona Flores, Ester Lemus, Wyatt Martin, Cassey Moncada, Vince Morris, Caitlin Praxel, Anne Reyes-Purdy, Sheila Rodriguez, Tanner Shartel, Andy Smith, Brooke States, and Sabrina Toller.
