Internships can benefit college students, as well as the local businesses that participate in the Copper Mountain College Community Partners program. Reporter Dan Stork lists some of those benefits…
Caitlin Logan is one of the Copper Mountain College students who have been part of the College’s Community Partners Internship Program. Caitlin has put in 100 hours of work in the z107.7 office, and has received a program certificate for her efforts.
According to Jeff Drozd, the program coordinator, internship experience is helpful on university applications and resumes. It also opens up networking opportunities and job possibilities. In addition to a certificate of completion, each student who completes the Copper Mountain program gets an Amazon Kindle Fire from the CMC Foundation.
