Copper Mountain College will recognize this year’s vocational and registered nursing program classes during a pinning ceremony at 6 p.m. tomorrow evening in the Bell Center Gym. Pinning is a time-honored celebration recognizing the completion of the rigorous nursing program. Superintendent/President Jeff Cummings will address the graduating class during the ceremony. Commencement for all 2015 graduates is at 5:45 p.m. this Thursday in the Bell Center Gym. CMC will award 216 degrees. Of those, 23 students are receiving two degrees, two students are earning three degrees and one student is being awarded four degrees. CMC will award 86 certificates of achievement and 70 graduates will receive certificates along with their degrees. Keynote speaker at Thursday’s commencement is Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors, James Ramos.
