“Carrie: The Musical” will open at Theatre 29 with a themed evening that invites you to dress for the prom. The musical tells the tale of a young teen with telekinetic powers, her fervently religious mother and a brood of bullying high school students. As the cast of talented teens take the stage, you’ll be in for a bloody good night of theater fun. Your $25 ticket includes pre-show heavy hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks beginning at 6 p.m. along with silent auction bidding, the show with a 7 p.m. curtain, intermission sweets and fun prizes for the “Best Dressed” prom attire, plus one free raffle ticket. Proceeds benefit the students, programs and facilities at CMC including their latest endeavor to ensure students attending class are well fed.

Gala tickets are available at the Z107.7 studios and the Foundation Office in the 300 Quad of the Copper Mountain campus. For tickets to all other performances of “Carrie” at the regular ticket prices of $10 to $15 visit theatre29.org. “Carrie: The Musical” will run weekends through October 28.
