Copper Mountain College plans a variety of activities leading up to Earth Day April 22. Students with Abilities will host a Recycling Drive the week of April 8. Student Art Projects on the 8th and 12th include Plein Air Drawing. And on Tuesday the 9th, gather for a Tailgate Party from noon to 2 with live music from the Sibleys Desert Rock Band. Wednesday morning from 8 to 9 is a Tortoise Preserve Nature Walk. On April 11th experts from Defenders of Wildlife and the National Park will speak on Desert Conservation and Biodiversity from noon to 2 p.m. in Art Room 401. And on April 12th, an educational specialist from the national park will speak from 11 to noon in CMC Phase I Room 108. All events are free and open to the public.
