When the CMC Board of Trustees meet Thursday, they will have on hand the report they were waiting for last month and now can discuss. The report, from the Community College League of California, is the proposed cost and structure for the process of converting to a by-district election system. Also up for discussion, the special joint meeting with Morongo Unified School District Board of Education with the tentative date of Tuesday, September 11. The meeting will start at 3 p.m. and will be held in the community room of the Bell Center on the Copper Mountain College campus in Joshua Tree.
