COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE BOARD TAKES UP ARTICULATION

Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees will meet tomorrow. Reporter Eric Knabe fills us in on details…
The Board of Trustees’ meeting will begin at 2:30 p.m. with a closed session meeting to discuss labor negotiations, they will then reconvene at 3 p.m. to open session. Following regular reports and information items, the trustees will have up for consideration the board policies regarding academic freedom and intellectual property. The board will then consider the policy to ensure that through articulation, CMC courses can be transferred and accepted by other colleges. Also up for approval are the consent items for Academic and Student Success that are changes in the curriculum and new classes for spring and next fall. Tomorrow’s meeting takes place in the Bell Center’s Community Room on the Joshua Tree campus.
