The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees met yesterday. Accreditation and child care services were discussed. Reporter Eric Knabe tells us more…
In open session Superintendent/President Jeff Cummings reported that he received the final draft of the accreditation team’s report, for review and error checking on Monday. He stated that it was very well written, with nothing that was unexpected and very complimentary to the work done at CMC. He has since sent it back to become the final report.
The board approved the curriculum of a four-part CADD certificate program that starts this fall and also a free child care service for students attending CMC. The service is funded through the California Adult Education Program and will be provided on a semester to semester basis.
