The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees held a special meeting yesterday that focused on recruitment of a new superintendent/president. Reporter Eric Knabe has the details…
With superintendent/president Jeff Cummings retiring in June, the main task at yesterday’s meeting was work on the recruitment material for potential candidates for Cummings’ replacement. Drs. James Riggs and Dean Colli from the consulting firm PPL Inc., were on hand to provide their newly hired input. The early plans are for a two-page flyer and a multi-page website providing greater detail. At end of the meeting the board had a reworded flyer, new ideas for the website and a definite timeline from the first meeting of the hiring committee on January 18 to meeting the finalist on April 29 and 30.
