The Copper Mountain Community College Board of Trustees met yesterday. Partners, accreditation and articulation were on the table. Reporter Eric Knabe tells us more…
Superintendent/President Jeff Cummings reported that he will be attending the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges Partners in Excellence Conference so he can stay informed on the accreditation process. The exact date of the accreditation team’s visit is still unknown.
In dealing with the consent items, the Board approved an articulation agreement between MUSD and CMC; students transferring to CMC can receive college credit and/or a prerequisite requirement waived for passing an ROP or high school early child development course with a grade of C or higher, thus helping the students with a smoother transition into college after graduation.
