At Thursday’s meeting, the Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees announced it hoped to reopen the college campus in the fall. Superintendent/President Dr. Darren Otten noted the board would take into consideration state and county guidelines for health and safety at that time. Trustee Liz Meyer congratulated the 2020 graduates; she said the board was proud of them and hoped they would be able to enjoy a physical celebration soon. 

Also noted, enrollment for the summer session is up. 

In other business, two people spoke during public comment against the renewal of Human Resource Director Bonnie Bilger’s contract on the grounds of unfair firing practices.
