COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE BOARD MEETS TOMORROW, STUDENT VOTING PRIVILEGES ON AGENDA

The Copper Mountain College Board meets tomorrow. Reporter Mike Lipsitz says the big question is on the agenda is…
Should the student trustee on the Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees have voting privileges? That is the topic of discussion at tomorrow’s 2:30 board of trustees study session. That discussion will be sandwiched between a 2 p.m. closed session meeting on a case of potential litigation and the regular monthly meeting of the board of trustees at 3 p.m. Depending on study session outcome, the matter of student trustee voting privileges may come up as an action item in the open session. Also under action items, the board will consider the Annual Financial and Budget Report for FY 2012-13. Those items are in addition to regular reports and items on the consent agenda. It all happens in the Bell Center’s Community Room on the Joshua Tree campus.
