A busy day awaits the Copper Mountain College Trustees tomorrow. At 1:30 p.m. they meet in special session to review the board’s self-evaluation procedure. Then a 2 p.m. trustees will convene the regular monthly meeting only to adjourn for a closed session discussion on labor negotiations. Then at 3 p.m. trustees are expected to reconvene in open session which begins with a public hearing with the California Schools Employees Association on a number of subjects ranging from vacations to vacancies. Following the close of the public hearing, the board is expected to consider and act on a number of items. Among the items the board is likely to act on is the approval and adoption of a Countywide Vision Statement, a master agreement with the college’s Foundation, and a handful of other resolutions which establish or confirm various board policies. It all happens in the Bell Center’s Community Room on the Joshua Tree campus.
