The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees convenes in regular open session at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Bell Center’s Community Room on the Joshua Tree campus. Right off, trustees will adjourn to closed session to discuss several items related to human resources. Then back in open session, the board will open a public hearing to look into negotiations between the college and the faculty association. Further down the calendar, trustees will consider several board policy updates and proposals, and human resource matters. Attendees can expect a short break between the conclusion of this regular meeting and the 5 p.m. opening of a joint meeting with the Morongo Unified School District as the two bodies continue to explore shared interests and other cooperative endeavors. Both meetings take place at CMC’s Bell Center Community Room.
