The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees will meet this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. for a closed session on employee discipline/dismissal/release. It will convene in open session at 3 p.m. for a public hearing on contract proposals for the Copper Mountain College Faculty Association and the California School Employees Association. The District’s initial proposals for negotiations must be approved by the board at a public meeting. The proposals are available for review at the District’s Office. The board will discuss some of the issues under negotiation later in the meeting. The board will also hear a mid-term review of its goals for the 2017-2018 school year; and go over the evaluation form for the executive director of the college’s foundation. The meeting will be held in the community room of the Bell Center on the Copper Mountain College campus in Joshua Tree.
