COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE BOARD MAY BORROW $2.5 MILLION, SET TUITION FEES TOMORROW

The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees will meet tomorrow afternoon. Reporter Mike Lipsitz said they will consider borrowing 2.5 million dollars and look at non-resident tuition.

Following a closed-door consultation with legal council, the Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees will convene in regular session at 3:00 tomorrow in the Bell Center’s Community Room. At that time the agenda calls for regular reports, and approval of routine items after which trustees will turn to the action agenda where they are expected to approve the Academic Calendars for 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 both of which can be found by following the link in this story at KCDZFM.com. Also tomorrow, trustees will consider whether or not to authorize borrowing funds for fiscal year 2013-14 by way of Tax and Revenue Anticipation Notes; up to $2.5 million may be needed for the District to meet its requirements for the coming fiscal year.
