At tomorrow’s 2 p.m. meeting of the Copper Mountain College board, trustees aim to work through an ambitious agenda. But before that, the board will adjourn to closed session for an evaluation of the president/ superintendent. Back in open session and under action items, the board will consider a five-year primary planning document called the Educational Master Plan, as well as a county-driven plan called the “cradle to career county-wide vision.” Under academic affairs, the board will consider a community education schedule for this fall. And under finance, the board will look at a proposed tentative budget for fiscal 2016-17. Also under consideration will be a handful of other resolutions which establish or confirm various board policies. It all happens in the Bell Center’s Community Room on the Joshua Tree campus.
