The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees holds their regular monthly meeting at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Bell Center’s Community Room on the Joshua Tree campus. Right off, the board will go into a closed session conference with a labor negotiator to consider two matters. When trustees reconvene in open session, they’ll consider several action items, among them are three resolutions that, if approved, will have the college affiliating with Eisenhower Medical Center, and JFK Hospital, both in Coachella Valley, and with the University of Phoenix. If approved, those actions will offer students enrolled in the nursing program continued expanded opportunities for hands-on training and access to more advanced courses.
