The Copper Mountain College board of trustees met yesterday. Negotiation proposals and accreditation were discussed. Reporter Eric Knabe tells us more…
At the start of the open session yesterday, the Copper Mountain College board of trustees approved unanimously the district’s initial proposal for negotiation with the California School Employee Association. After a positive experience with the accreditation team, Superintendent/President Jeff Cummings is waiting to receive the first draft of the team’s report to review for errors and omissions. It will then be sent back to the accrediting commission for community and junior colleges to be finalized. The board will then receive the final report and the opportunity to respond and correct any problems.
