COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE BOARD CATCHES UP YESTERDAY

The CMC Board of Trustees had to deal with two months' worth of agenda items. April's meeting was cancelled due to a massive wind storm. The Open Session began with the swearing in of the newly elected student trustee Savannah Szabo. It was then that board president Liz Meyers ask for a pause so that three retiring employees, Jerry Phipps, Delores McCloskey, and Andrea Armstrong could be recognized. An update presentation was given on veteran's resources available on campus, including new sophisticated audio software that assist the veterans with hearing loss and taking notes during lectures. All other action items were dealt with swiftly and were fully caught up.
