The Copper Mountain College men’s and women’s basketball teams were both in tournaments this weekend. The women were in the Showcase at LA Harbor. They split their two games on Saturday. Kearra Tauta scored six three-pointers in the first game. Lelisa Watson led the scoring in the second game. Results for the fourth game on Sunday were unavailable.
The men’s team played at the SoCal Fall Juco Jamboree. The men’s Fighting Cacti had a one-point loss and 30-point win on Saturday and won by 20 points on Sunday. Results for the fourth game on Sunday were unavailable.
