COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE AWARDS INTERNSHIP TO STUDENT WYATT MARTIN

Wyatt Martin, a first-year computer science student, understands the value of hands-on experience. Working directly with computers is something that can be applied in the professional world beyond the information learned in the classroom. Martin hopes to eventually earn a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. About the internship, Martin said, “I can’t wait to get started. I think it’s going to fun and a good learning experience.” Steven Kemp, Director of Information Systems at Copper Mountain College stated that the internship can be a very positive environment, citing that past interns have received jobs specifically due to the program. “We’re excited to have Wyatt on board.” Kemp stated, adding, “I think that it will be a win-win all around.”
