The “Invention, Reinvention” art show hosted by Copper Mountain College’s Art Program at the Ada Hatch Center is now open. The artwork will be on display from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday during the month of February, and all artworks are available for sale. “Invention, Reinvention” is a multi-disciplinary showcase of artworks by Morongo Basin residents and regional artists. The artists will be discussing their work in a public forum during the third Thursday Cultural Series event on February 19, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Also, CMC art students will be judging the submitted artworks for three Honorable Invention awards. Join them for the announcement of the winning artists at the artist’s reception on February 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It all takes place at the Ada Hatch Center on 6334 Rotary Way.
