COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE ANNOUNCES GRACE MEMORIAL SCHOLAR

Copper Mountain College Foundation has named a Twentynine Palms woman as the first recipient of the Grace Memorial Visual Art Scholarship. The $500 scholarship was awarded to Melinda Tomesello on the recommendation of the college’s art faculty.

Elsie Grace was a nationally known watercolorist who taught art classes at Copper Mountain College for 33 years. The family of Elsie Grace established a scholarship fund with Copper Mountain College Foundation and was on hand to award the first scholarship.
