Copper Mountain College is continuing a special scholarship for all students who wish to become Emergency Medical Technicians. Reporter Ernest Figueroa has the details on the scholarship and the man who inspired it…
Jeff Tabor, a Copper Mountain College-trained EMT, was tragically killed in a traffic accident on June 27, 2020. To honor his commitment to caring for the community, the college established an EMT scholarship in his name. All students enrolled in the Fall, 2021 EMT course at Copper Mountain College will have their textbook, uniform & equipment; a $1,760 cost; covered in full by the Jeff Tabor Memorial EMT Scholarship. For more information on the EMT program, or for information on how to donate to the scholarship fund, contact Copper Mountain College at www.cmccd.edu or call 760.366.3791.
