COPPER MOUNTAIN BASKETBALL TAKES THIRD IN MT. SAN JACINTO TOURNAMENT

After a tough 75-74 loss to Mount San Jacinto College on Friday, the Copper Mountain College men’s basketball team picked up their 10th win of the season Saturday, 87-83 against Riverside Community College. The win earned the Fighting Cacti third place at the Mount San Jacinto College Tournament.
Steven McNease had a great game with 15 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three blocks, while Isiah Blackmon had 14 points, Jailen Moore added 12 points, and Tre’Von Bentley chipped in 11 points for the total team win.
The Fighting Cacti improve to 10-2 on the year and will head up to Modesto for a 16-team tournament where they will face Yuba College Tuesday night.
