Convicted sex offender arrested in Yucca Valley for suspicion of failing to register with California state

On Thursday (May 8) at around 11 a.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to the Town of Yucca Valley contacted Duane Bronson, a 55 year-old transient, in the Grocery Outlet complex on Twentynine Palms Highway. County records show that Bronson was found to be a registered sex offender who had failed to register with the state in the last 30 days as the terms of his release require. County records show that Bronson has failed to keep the courts aware of his movements several times over the last decade.

Duane Bronson was arrested for suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $30,000 bail.
