CONVICTED FELON ARRESTED AFTER HE WAS FOUND WITH AMMUNITION

A Yucca Valley convicted felon was arrested Thursday after he was found with ammunition. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy made a probation compliance inspection on Jesus Baez, 37, in the 6300 block of Balboa Avenue in Yucca Valley about 5 p.m. The deputy located a stolen 2003 Audi parked in the front yard. Baez is a convicted felon and ammunition was found inside the home. He was arrested for being a felon in possession of ammunition and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with bail set at $35,000. Baez’s roommate is the suspect for the stolen vehicle; a report will be forwarded to the district attorney’s office for review.
