A convicted felon was arrested Thursday, accused of spouse abuse. Deputies were called to the 6900 block of Mohawk Trail in Yucca Valley about 8 p.m. for a disturbance where they contacted Cory Rifenbery, 29. After an investigation, Cory Rifenbery was arrested on suspicion of spouse abuse, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
