Congressman Jay Obernolte is inviting students in the 8th Congressional District to participate in the 2021 Congressional Art Competition. The winner of California’s 8th District will be determined by an independent panel of judges; the winning artwork will be displayed at the U.S. Capitol. Second- and third-place winners will be displayed in Obernolte’s Washington, D.C. and district offices. There will also be a People’s Choice award, in which constituents will be able to vote for their favorite artwork. The deadline to enter is April 23.

Students should submit a high-resolution photo of their artwork and a completed 2021 Student Information and Release form by 5 p.m., Friday, April 23 to [email protected].
