The Morongo Basin Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who have experienced the death of a child, will meet Wednesday, August 9, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Helen Gray Education Center located on the campus of the Hi Desert Medical Center at 6601 White Feather Road, Joshua Tree on Wednesday, August 9. The monthly support group, facilitated by Kristin Martin, offers practical help from other parents who are also grieving the loss of a child.
