The Morongo Basin Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who have experienced the death of a child, meets this Wednesday, August 14, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. the Helen Gray Center on the campus of Hi Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree. The Compassionate Friends is a national support organization reaching out to parents grieving the death of a child. The group is facilitated by Kristin Martin.
