The Morongo Basin Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who have experienced the death of a child, meets from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Wednesday, May 8, at the Helen Gray Center on the campus of Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree. The Compassionate Friends is a national support organization reaching out to parents grieving the death of a child. The group is facilitated by Kristin Martin.
