The County’s Family Assistance Program has signed a five-year lease with the county to use the fire station at Panorama Heights in Joshua Tree for a day-use, drop-in facility for the area’s homeless. The Family Assistance Program will hold a community meeting Tuesday, May 21, at hear comments, concerns, and answer questions about the new homeless facility. The meeting starts at 1 p.m. at the fire station, 6562 Sierra Avenue in Joshua Tree.
