The governing board of the Community Health Center will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. today. The sole item on the agenda is to appoint Jackie Combs as executive director of the Morongo Basin Community Health Center. The meeting will be held in district offices on La Contenta Road in Yucca Valley.
