With the passing of Mara Cantelo and the retirement of Mary Jane Binge from the governing board of Morongo Basin Community Health Center, the board development committee held a special meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday to interview candidates for the board. The committee will then forward its recommendations on to the governing board for approval. The meeting will be held in district offices, 6530 La Contenta Road in Yucca Valley.
