Mil-Tree is creating a community vegetable garden at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center. The garden is being created with the low water of the high desert in mind – creating individual container gardens along with larger “wicking beds” – which are self-contained raised garden beds that are ideal for growing in arid desert environments.
Garden activities start October 1st and continue every Sunday from 1 to 4 pm throughout October and into Fall and Winter.Â
