Join the 29 Palms Inn at their Fault Line Farm on Saturday, January 9, for two free community events. From 9:00 a.m. until noon there will be a fruit tree pruning workshop with Bob Morris. This free workshop will include a discussion on how to apply fertilizers and what kind of pest control operations that should be performed this time of year. Bob Morris has a background that includes over 25 years’ experience as a horticulture specialist and associate professor emeritus for the University of Nevada Reno. Shortly after, there will be a community seed exchange from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Trade your extra seeds, explore new food and flowers, share gardening information, pick up free packaging and labels, and enjoy networking with people from the community.
