Are you prepared for a disaster? Mark your calendars now for the Morongo Basin CERT team’s Disaster Preparedness Day, in conjunction with the Great American Shake Out. This event will take place on October 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Tractor Supply parking lot, 57980 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley. There will be free information and demonstrations on water purification and storage, survival skills, animal care, basic first aid, and much more.
