COMBAT CENTER IN THIRD DAY OF POWER OUTAGE

0

Two housing areas on the Combat Center have been without power since early Monday morning. The electrical distribution circuits that serve the Ocotillo and Fairway Heights housing areas suffered severe damage. Repairs are underway, but power is not expected to be restored until well into today, or possibly even later. Ice is available for residents at the old Ocotillo minimart from 10 to 1 and 4 to 8 p.m. today, or until the ice runs out. The Ocotillo Clubhouse has a generator, and Wi-Fi, television, video games, a kitchen, and phone charging stations are available until 8 p.m. Residents with property loss such as food spoilage should file a claim with their insurance companies, or follow a link in this story at z1077fm.com
