The hit musical “The Addams Family” opens at Theatre 29 with a gala fundraiser benefiting the Copper Mountain College Foundation. Reporter Rebecca Haveley has more…
The Copper Mountain College Foundation says “The Addams Family” opening night is sold out. Theatre 29 offers the unique opportunity for local non-profits to sponsor show openings by buying the tickets at a discounted rate and then they market and sell the tickets to raise funds for their organization. College Foundation Executive Director Sandy Smith said, “Two weeks before the sponsored night, we sold out.” Smith also said some overflow and no-show tickets may be available at the door opening night. This creepy, kooky hit musical is directed by the multi-Desert Theatre League award-winning team of artistic and musical director, Kathyrn Ferguson, and choreographer Derk Shopinski. The musical comes tolife Friday and Saturday nights beginning October 2 through Halloween night, October 31. Two sunday matinees are scheduled for October 18 and 24. Tickets will sell out fast, so theater lovers, make your reservations early.
Tickets (except for the opening night gala) are $12 for regular admission, $10 for seniors and military, and $8 for children under 12 and students with ID. Tickets may be ordered online at theatre29.org, or by calling the Theatre 29 box office at 760-361-4151.
