Copper Mountain College’s Cultural Education Enhancement Committee (CEEC) continues their Third Thursday Cultural Series with “Serrano Culture and Serrano Bighorn Sheep Songs” in honor of Native American Month. On Thursday, November 20, from 12 to 1 p.m. join them for this celebration of rich Native American history and tradition, held in the Bell Center Community Room at CMC. The program will be led by Kim Marcus, as well as feature elders and members of the Serrano People from the San Manuel, Santa Rosa and Morongo Tribes. Included are Serrano big horn sheep songs and an ancient coyote dance, along with Serrano stories from this region. This event is free and open to the public.
