COLLEGE BOARD MEETS TOMORROW, CONSIDERS STAFF DISCIPLINARY ACTION

The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees meets in regular open session at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Bell Center’s Community Room on the Joshua Tree campus. Following approval of the agenda, prior minutes, and public comment, trustees will go into closed session with a California State Teachers Association negotiator to discuss a possible disciplinary action or dismissal. Back in open session, trustees will consider an advertising contract with Marine Corps Community Services, and likely approve an agreement with an outside firm to provide student counseling sessions this spring. And finally, the board will consider partnering with a firm that will assist in creating an updated, user-friendly website. Those items are in addition to regular reports and items on the consent agenda.
