COACHELLA WOMAN ARRESTED IN 29 PALMS FOR ARSON

A Coachella woman was arrested in Twentynine Palms over the weekend, accused of arson. On Friday (December 10) shortly before 4 p.m., deputies were called to the 6300 block of Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms for a report of arson. According to a press release, arriving deputies located a burned shopping cart to the east of a business and conducted an area search. During their search, deputies contacted a female matching witness description, later identified as Breana Guzman, 29. A witness was also available to positively identify Guzman as the suspect who burned the shopping cart. Breana Guzman was arrested for investigation of arson and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000. Guzman is also being held at the West Valley Detention Center for multiple warrants out of Riverside County, including vandalism and unlawful use of tear gas.
