“DUCK PLUCK” JULY 20TH TO BENEFIT COPPER MOUNTAIN COLLEGE

LISTEN TO THIS STORY HERE:

The Copper Mountain College Foundation has brought back a summer favorite with their third annual Lucky Duck Pluck. Members of the community are invited to adopt rubber ducks, which are then individually numbered and tossed into a pool. On July 20, more than a dozen ducks will be plucked from the pool, awarding their owners one of several fabulous prizes, including a $250 grocery card Yucca Valley Grocery Outlet, a custom engraved wooden eagle and American flag from Deibert’s Laser Engraving & Imaging, a Jam Collection from Jerry at Cell Phone Repair, a gift basket from 29 Palms Starbucks, and a Fitness basket valued at $175.

Ducks can be purchased online at https://www.mightycause.com/story/Cmcduckpluck or from any board member or staff. A pair of ducks is $10. A six quack is $25. If you want more chances, a Flying V is $35 or a whole flock of 20 ducks for $75. After purchase, you will receive your ducks’ numbers, and the drawing will be held live on Facebook at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. All prizes can be picked up at the college following the drawing.
