CMC FALSE ALARM RESULTS IN ARREST FOR STOLEN QUAD

Deputies responding to a burglar alarm at Copper Mountain College Saturday afternoon found a Joshua Tree man with a stolen off-road vehicle. According to Sheriff’s Sergeant Matt Yost, deputies determined the burglar alarm was a false alarm, but while investigating, they found an RV with a stolen 1986 Suzuki quad. With the RV and quad was Andy Lane, 56. After an investigation, Andy Lane was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property. Andy Lane was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $10,000.
