CMC BOARD TO HONOR FORMER SUPERINTENDENT/PRESIDENT

The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees will meet in regular session tomorrow (February 10) in the Community Room of the Bell Center, with closed session beginning at 2:30 and open session beginning at 3:00 p.m. In celebration of the college’s twentieth anniversary, the board will honor the legacy of Dr. Roger Wagner, who served as Superintendent/President of the college from 2007-2014. Current Superintendent/President Dr. Daren Otten will also provide updates regarding accreditation and the college’s COVID-19 procedures. In addition, the trustees will discuss nominations for the 2022 California Community College Trustees Board, which will be accepted until February 15. Later in the meeting, the board will hold second readings of several board policies, including graduation requirements for degrees and certificates. They will also vote to adopt the nonresidential tuition fee for 2022-2023, in addition to voting to approve three Paid Contractor Agreements for the Wildland Fire Academy in Spring 2022.
