A closing reception is set for Saturday at Boxohouse House for an art exhibition that celebrates those who live on the fringes. Managing editor Tami Roleff has your invitation to the reception… The art exhibition, “Queering the Landscape,” will close Saturday, March 2, at BoxoHouse in Joshua Tree. “Queering the Landscape,” by Ben Cuevas of Los Angeles, depicts the forms and textures of the Joshua Tree landscape using knitting and macramé to depict the land in an other-worldly style, much like gays, minorities, and transgender people who often exist on the fringes. A closing reception is set for 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2. BoxoHouse is located at 62732 Sullivan Road in Joshua Tree.
