While the Twentynine Palms Marine Base commissary is still closed, the store will hold sidewalk sales every day until it re-opens. From 1 to 5 p.m., residents with commissary privileges can buy diapers and baby formula, cleaning supplies, toiletries, paper products, canned foods, cereals, snacks, sodas, and water. The commissary was closed October 11 due to a severe rodent infestation, and the Defense Commissary Agency shut down the store while it thoroughly cleans the store and trains employees to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
